Cyclo Cross in Fall 2010

Summer is gone and so the road racing season. The cyclo cross races brought us directly into the new ski racing season. What a great training! Click here to see all the cycling results 2010! September 12th, 2010, Copper Mountain Ski Resort - Copper X. This was my first Cyclo Cross Race. It was fun to ride under the chair lifts, even it doesn't look like it! September 18th, 2010 - Colorado Springs - Pikes Peak Velo Super Cross. 1st place. September 19th, 2010 - Lookout Cross. It was really warm, but the course was fun! 3rd place. September 23rd - I ride on our Lake City Ski Hill. The Hill is well prepared for the winter, only the snow is missing! 2nd and 3rd of October Frisco X - I had a great time again.   Training around Lake San Cristobal near Lake City. There is the first snow on the peaks of the mountains! Cross at the River on 10/10/10 - X X X - Great long course, it was a lot of fun! (First Place). October 17th, 2010 - Aspen Lodge Cyclo Cross - The announcer said that this race is the "Grizzly" among all cyclo cross races, he was right. The course was really technical and not fast at all. October 23rd, 2010 - Blue Sky Cup in Longmont - the course was great - 2nd place JW 13/14 October 24th, 2010 - Boulder CX Series #3 in Louisville - 3rd place JW 13/14. October 30th, 2010 - Boulder - NACT Colorado Cross - 2nd place October 31st, 2010, Broomfield, Flatiron Crossing - NACT Halloween Boulder Cup - 3rd place Great picture of Mina, Ksenia and me (l to r). November 20th, 2010 - Alphacross in Centennial/CO - 1st place. This was one of the best award ceremonies! (l to r: Ellie, me and Ashley) November 21st, 2010 - Longmont Union Reservoir - This was the last race of year. Now it is time to get ready for skiing again! But this was a great Spring, Summer and Fall - I enjoyed it so much! February 2011 - It is a great honor to accept the trophy for winning the 2010 Colorado Cyclo Cross Cup. BACK TO THE TOP.
